I grew up in a Christian Home in Burundi and my family members and siblings are missionaries. Due to the war, some of us left the Country. However, my heart has never left my country and my people.

In 2021, I heard the word of God very strongly that I should go serve in the nations where people are survivors of war and to help the people to overcome trauma and related issues. I prayed and asked God for clarification. I got a revelation while reading Genesis 26:10-28 that I should go back to my nation.

In 2022, I took my first mission trip to Burundi and Rwanda and I saw and came to understand better the great need that people have for healing from the trauma of genocide, rejection, the grief over the loss of their loved ones and their livelihood. I delivered a message of hope for our Burundian and Rwandese people at a conference called The Esthers. I shared the story of my own escape from the civil war in Burundi. I explained how prayer was an integral part of my journey and how by the blood of Jesus our redeemer I have forgiven the people who killed my family members. Furthermore, I explained how I came to trust God to be my defender and that indeed Jesus is the defender of my heart.
